And once you’ve completed the course, you’ll be able to dive up to a maximum depth of 12 meters anywhere in the world, as long as you’re with a PADI professional.
The first stage of the PADI Scuba Diver course is split into three knowledge development sessions, where you’ll gen up on the theory side of things. Then, once you’ve had all your classroom-based lessons, it’s on to the practical side of things. You’ll do three confined training dives, and to complete your PADI Scuba Diver, you’ll do two open water dives from the shore, up to a maximum depth of 12 meters.
Once you’ve ticked the PADI Scuba Diver course off, you can continue to up your diving skills by signing up for a PADI Open Water Diver any time in the next 12 months. Just so you know, the course includes your tuition and all the scuba diving equipment you’ll need, but there are a few extras you’ll need to buy separately.
